Greenough depicts a pioneer atmosphere in its excellent examples of original heritage buildings, housing art, crafts, pottery, eateries and one of the best folk museums to be found anywhere in Australia. A heritage trail will take you past many National Trust Properties, as well as many privately owned ones.
Near the river mouth you will find the Greenough River, an excellent tourist stopover and just beyond (almost on the beach) is the Greenough River mouth Caravan Park, a quality park with shop and discount fuel - just the place for you and the family.
Greenough leaning trees (Eucalyptus camaldulansis) are an outstanding feature and symbol of Greenough.
