General:
Tranquil streams, swelling to fast moving rapids in winter, fill the Murray River valley, the last of the major valleys not to be flooded for water supply. The bushland flowers for most of the year with eucalyptus in summer, wattles in winter and wildflowers in spring. There is also a wealth of animal life to be seen and heard walking through the forest.
